The city district Vršovice is part of Prague 10 and a popular area located in the Southeast of Prague close to the city center.
Especially the North and West bordering Vinohrady, situated on a slope, is a prestigious residential area with plenty of attractive buildings from the Art Nouveau, Art Déco and Functionalism era.
For years a personal tip, the area developed through continuous restoration of the magnificent architecture and variety of green spaces, such as the Park ‘Heroldovy Sady’ and the orchards ‘Havlíčkovy Sady’ to one of the most popular residential areas in Prague.
The borough provides an excellent infrastructure and access to public transport – the line A Metro station ‘Náměstí Míru’ is just as easily accessible as the tram, putting the Old Town of Prague in reach within just a few minutes. A large shopping center (EDEN) with all kinds of shops is also in close proximity and includes a variety of public facilities, bars and restaurants.
Vršovice is the home of the ice hockey club HC Slavia Prague as well as the football clubs Bohemians 1905 and SK Slavia Prague, which holds its home games in the state of the art football stadium SYNOT TIP ARÉNA.
